I.Key details of the certification

(1) Certification standards:

Lithium - ion batteries and battery packs: Safety Technical Specifications for Lithium - ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Portable Electronic Products (GB 31241).

Mobile power supplies: Safety Requirements for Audio,Video,Information Technology and Communication Technology Equipment - Part 1: Safety Requirements (GB 4943.1) and Safety Technical Specifications for Lithium - ion Batteries and Battery Packs for Portable Electronic Products (GB 31241).

(2) Certification implementation rules: Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification of Electronic products and safety accessories (No.: CNCA - C09 - 01: 2023).

(3) Certification time nodes:

August 1,2023: CCC certification begins to be implemented.

August 1,2024:Products without certification are prohibited from leaving the factory,being sold,and imported.

II.Customs inspection and supervision

Lithium - ion batteries and related products such as 8506500000,8507600090,etc.are within the scope of import commodity inspection.The customs will conduct entry verification,on - site inspection,and laboratory testing,including safety items such as impact and overcharging.

III.Precautions for enterprises

When making an import declaration,enterprises need to correctly declare information such as the nature of the goods,product qualifications,and certificate numbers.
